About michael Brown
via khow.iheart.com
Michael Brown has taken off in Marine One from the south lawn of the White House and flown numerous times on Air Force One, once while eating an In-and-Out Burger. He did not, contrary to some friends, steal anything from the plane. But he does have “souvenirs.”
President George W. Bush gave him a nickname, “Brownie” and considers that better than Karl Rove’s nickname, “Turd Blossom.”
He has represented the President in s-hole countries and was given a Russian black bear rug that he had to sneak through customs with the assistance of the head of U.S. Customs. As the Under Secretary of Homeland Security and Director of FEMA, he has handled disasters all across the United States, including Hurricane Katrina. He authored “Deadly Indifference, The Perfect Political Storm” after the mainstream media vilified him for the response to that disaster. He made Keith Olberman’s “Worst Person In The World” list and was mocked by Bill Maher on HBO, only to have both of them later apologize after learning the facts about Hurricane Katrina.
Michael started in politics at the age of six, thanks to his parents. He’s been a city councilman, ran for Congress and got his butt beat, became General Counsel at FEMA, later Deputy Director, then Director, and the first Under Secretary of Homeland Security for Emergency Preparedness & Response. He’s been inside the belly of the beast and found it surprisingly satisfying and simultaneously disgusting.
He’s a recovering lawyer and has represented murderers in capital cases, won and lost cases, sued the Oklahoma Supreme Court on behalf of farmers and ranchers, and has had dinner with Associate Justice Clarence Thomas. He’s been admired and despised by Hillary Clinton. He briefed the entire United States Senate after 9/11 and knows all the nooks and crannies in the White House and the U.S. Capitol. He knows where all the “undisclosed locations” are located, including his own.
Talkers Magazine has twice named him among the Top 100 Talk Shows in the United States and has twice been honored by the Colorado Broadcasters Association for best news/talk program. He started on KOA News Radio in 2006 doing a Saturday show for free. Fifteen years later he’s still on air, still having a blast, and is currently heard on all three AM iHeart stations in Denver, KOA News Radio, KHOW, Denver’s Talk Station, and KDFD, Freedom. But he no longer works for free.
Michael’s show can be heard on 630 AM KHOW, Monday-Friday, 2-4 P.M. and on KOA NewsRadio 850 AM & 94.1 FM Monday-Friday 6-7 P.M. Mountain Time, or anytime on iHeartRadio.
You can also hear the Michael Brown Minute on Freedom 93.7, Real News, Real Talk, Monday through Friday at 7:47 a.m., 12:47 p.m., 2:47 p.m. and 4:47 p.m.
